Granted. I think anyone that drives a Ford is a liability too, but apparantly U-Haul is the first company to be concerned.

Well, I see why. They are involved in the law suite with firestone. They want to keep business and not have these type of problems. A good move by them. But it will hinder business a little.
"The decision is not based on one accident," she said. "It's based on several different lawsuits going on for several years."

sux for them. but pretty stupid move on u-hauls part since the explorer is one of the most popular suv's out there. if its the best rated suv for towing, more people will get it for that...so u-haul will def. lose business because of this as well.
wow. talk aabout a scapegoat
"U-Haul was involved in a lawsuit that Bridgestone/Firestone settled out of court in September. It involved three college students who were injured when their Firestone tire-equipped Explorer overturned while pulling a U-Haul trailer."
but on the bright side:
"Bridgestone/Firestone is currently trying reach an agreement on a $149 million settlement of 30 class-action lawsuits because of defective tires. "
hey.... waitaminute, didn't our civics come with firestones? oh crap
