Just picked up a Mag while I was at the book store to look at their Civic they posted on the cover and in it they said it was a 8th Gen Civic, what kind of crap is that.. its in the Mag Access, never checked it out but saw about the civic so I grabbed it. http://www.access-mag.com/ freaking retards.. .. Honda has been going 5 years on each generation for a while now. That would make the '06 the next gen. They go three years, then do a freshening of the bodywork for two, then redesign.

And PLEASE everybody, stop calling the '04 a 7.5gen, that's just silly. It's a 7thgen with a new front clip and slightly different bodywork. It's a whole lot cheaper than redesigning every three years.

Just think of the '04 as a 7thgen with camry front end conversion, new tails, and a rear valance panel.
