audi electrical systems are crap, audi and vw, my friends dad has an a6 and the car doesn't start a lot of the time cause of the electrical system he has tiptronic and it says "please press the clutch in before you turn the key" and theres no clutch, also i used to work at a bmw dealership that sold pre-owned audis too and everyone would bring em back in with problems of all sorts, u'd think if a car costs more money u'd have less problems

Get the Audi, cause ive had one before my civic. the 1.8T A4. it was cool. real cool.ive sign a 4 year deal( i was renting it)well my step-father paid for me. And i own a 7th gen civic. it so different. get it drop down on 18 inch rims and your cool. get the black one!!! tiptronic is on the steering wheel!!!!

the only reason I will tell you not to get a audi is because your repair cost will be alot more expensive, alot more.
Get the A4!!! My brother got a 2003 1.8T A4 last year after I got my Civic and it's sweet...much better than my Civic. Not that I don't like my Civic because it does look nice...but that's about it..haha.
if you have the money get the A4, do you really need our opinions? lol I love my civic though, fun to drive, every other person has one, it's nice looking, and I had the choice between a Kia and a Civic, I chose the Civic...it's dependable though...but get an A4
Well if you look at it this way... if you get a civic instead of an audi.... with the money difference between the two you could make a pretty fast civic
I would personally get the A4, with the 3.0NA engine, and then i'd track it, it really depends on what you want to do with it, if you want to drag race, don't bother with Either, since they're both horrible platforms... If you're going to AutoX hardcore, you could go with the civic and build a pretty mean machine. If you're going to track, i'd say go with the Audi because of the longer straigths you're going to need that additional power.
An A4 to a Civic is a stupid comparison. RSX-S to an A4 is not, it's cheaper, more reliable, and in most cases faster. Audi's are not as reliable, cost MUCH more to modify, or fix. Oh yeah, and Audi/VW clutch's absolutely SUCK.

no offense to any of you guys but, a civic is a civic. yes you can tune them up but it takes alot more money/time to get real horsepower. the audi on the other hand has a stock turbo'd engine, while only 1.8 L it produces 180 hp. more than a civic stock, two the audi has comfort and luxury. get the audi IMO

there really isnt one thing better in the civic than the audi a4 besides the better gas milage, so i say get the audi.
A4 - I'd get it if I had to choose and had the money.
