Sleeper

I know how some of you like turboing your cars and then not doing any exterior modifications to it, so that people may think you're just some dumb ricer with winshield washer LEDs. But then when they try to race you, you can burn em.

Anyway I was thinking that turbo-ed cars need a new intake and exhaust system right?

So what if you got a new exhaust system, but for the muffler, you kept the stock muffler, had the larger piping custom welded to a larger hole in the back of the stock muffler, and then maybe had like a larger hole bored into the bottom of the muffler box to release some of the restriction. Would that work?

I guess it would be loud though, huh?

I don't know why I thought of this I guess I'm just bored.

It would be the ultimate sleeper though.

There's actually a cat from TX (I think) with a 5th gen hatch with a B18 swap with some killer *** turbo on it. Goes by the name Greenfrog if I recall correctly. Anyway, he left his stock exhaust on the car and just had a dump tube built to release into the atmosphere. It looks completely stock from the back. Crawl under the car and it's like night and day. I'm sure someone has the pictures of it floating around somewhere.

dump tube... so it's like... his stock muffler really doesn't have a function right? How loud is that bich then if he just has a tube?

Won't the tube melt shi+ under the car. I know members already have problems with melting their bumpers.
