Vanity Plates? Pro Con?

Should I get a custom license plate?

I guess the pros would be I would like it...

The cons would be that people would have such an easy time spotting/profiling/stealing/keying my car right.

This means that I gotta drive super correctly now because you just don't forget custom tagz.

I still remember the tag of this white integra 8 years ago... it said...

Hi personally think vanity plates are kind of queer but try something like

NVW SSV or something like that. It doesn't look too Gino and you need to figure it out.

I knew someone that tried to get MULLET, but it was taken (in NY). Instead, he went with MULET4U, I think.

I wanted to put the name of my car on the tags.

Some people name their cars and I never really had my own car until this one and just the other day I thought about naming it.

I guess it would have to be a girl right since car names are female names right.

Would that be weird since I'm a guy.

I've always thought vanity plates were lame. Especially the ones that are spelled so wierd you need an CIA codebreaker to read what they mean.

On the other hand, we customize every other aspect and part of our car, so why not the liscense plates?

If someone wanted to find you...it wouldn't take a personalized plate to do so. Granted if they happen to see your car driving down the street later it might be a little easier to remember...but if someone pisses me off enough I remember thier plate personalized or not.

DZW-5132 <---the last guy that pissed me off enough to find his house.

In the end it boils down to the same thing every mod boils down to. Do you like it? I think a 4 foot shaooping cart wing would make me remember your car...or some wierd bright paint job...but some people do it anyway.

I think certain ones for very unique cars are alright. On the daily driver , i would not think it is a very good idea. The police in my town I'm sure have a good idea of who I am with just my Ralley Red Civic. A custom plate would not help my chances of getting out of a ticket either.

Available in NY: Jaw_Drop (Always like that one.)

Road_Head (If i ever saw that on a car I'd die laughing...)

with clear spray paint.
