I keep seeing the term "privacy glass" and I have no idea what it is. Yes, I googled but did not find an explanation on what it is. Could anyone tell me what it is?

maybe the glass that seems to have a mirror tint on the outside and on the inside you can see through it clear as day. Kinda like one of them 2way mirrors that people looking in can't see through but people look out can see through fine! like the ones in interrogation rooms for cops. i guess......

My dad's Astro had privacy glass. It's tint, but not your standard "film" tint which can scratch off; the tint is actually within the glass itself.

I got ripped off. My car has privacy glass but it's as clear as normal glass and I had to get tint. Ahhh. Okay, maybe it's one of those car "tints" where it's not really "tint".

privacy glass is where they have the tint in the middle of the glass but it's usually a 45% - 60% tint so I'd say you got ripped.
