What to do, What to do?
So I've always wanted an S2000. I ended up getting my civic when I was in college, for convienence, I really didn't want it, but I would have been dumb not to get it. I'm done with college and want to get an S2000, but the problem I'm faced with is that I'll be able to afford one in prob like 18 months. So for now do I spend more money on mods for my civic or save everything I can for the S2000? (I guess this is my main question) I plan on buying a used, but good condition 02 or 03.
The second part to this is when/ if I do get the S2000, I'll be using it as a daily driver here in New England. For practicallity purposes it's really not the ideal car, but I really want one. Then again by the time I can afford one I'll be paid off on my civic, only to start payments on another car. What do you think? Am I a dummy for wanting one?

no not at all....they are nice cars...my car is practical where I live, a high hp rear wheel drive is gonna be a bitch in the winter for myself....but u know what you only live once..so fvck it. I definetly would stop modding your vic if u are gonna definetly plan on doing this...I mean its pointless if u keep spending money on a car you know you wont be keeping. If you can afford..I say go for it...just dont be spending your whole paycheck on just your car payments. If that is gonna be the case...definetly keep the civic...but if you can afford the payments and live a normal life...**** I say go for it

it'd be sick if you had match cars. turbo and everything. add in a bike to that and it'd look baller style.
matching s2000, civic, and a RC51...wow!
even though it probably wouldnt be practical to have a bike in the northeast

IMURMILK1 pretty much summed it up man, if thats what you want and can afford it then go ahead and buy it, but if your depriving yourself of neccessities like food and so forth then i would think twice about whats practical.

ya I've been talking with those guys already and they say the same thing. No, I would not be depriving myself of food and such. I would just have to wait 18 months to 2 years for it. So I was thinking make myself happy for the time being with mods or wait.

I'll be looking at a used S2000. I figure trading in my civic and by that time I should have most of the rest of the money. Will have maybe $5k or so in loans then.
