Yes to the Detroit Red Wings. A few years back Vladamir Konstantinov, Igor Larionov, and a team trainer were in a limo accident. It paralyzed Konstantinov and obviously ended his career.

I'm not sure what happened to limo driver in the legal battle.

It was right after the Red Wings had just won the Stanley Cup.
