Tails
Tails
I just saw this and thought it was kind of strange. Are those covers, or did they paint the lights? I dont like exactly how they did it, but it could look good if done somewhat differently.
You can either paint the tails or paint some masking and put it over the tails. I recommend the latter. I don't like the way those tails look either, but I did see some painted tails that I really liked that were on a black Civic. Not with the circiles like that...it was sort of a ...well...I'll try to find a pic if I know where it is.
By the way, did you take that picture or did you find it online. If you took it, I don't know how happy the guy would be about you posting his plates online :O hehe

Sometimes, I can see right through myself ...

It doesn't look like he painted them. It looks more like he took and layed vinyl over the lights. Whatever he did, it looks like ***.

I split open my ulgteezas and painted EBP to match my car....just re-sealed them this weekend and haven't installed yet.....I did paint over the reverse lens, obviously it was clear, and now it's body color, do u think i'd get pulled over while just driving cuz there's only red circles, and no clear reverse lights????

I painted my tezza's EBP on my sedan just last weekend. I got the paint at local auto paint store who customized the color code and mixed it into a spray can so it's an exact match (i did the same with my headlight housings). I split open the lights same way as the headlights (look at the DIY, I used the oven) it take PATIENCE though. Once apart, lightly sand down the chrome finish and use a primer first. Then spray away and re-seal. I actually painted over the reverse light, just to add more blue to the rear of the car. I've got the chrome molding painted EBP also, and it's shaved w/ the OEM rear, so it looks tight. Once all re-sealed, just slap back on and be done w/ it. Just hope they don't leak......

ps. I also painted a 3/8" border around the perimeter of all the clear lenses so that it looked clean, you could see marks where I pryed the lights apart, so the border covers all of it....

I did kinda make a DIY in Member Rides Forum. If you want, I think you can still do a Search in there for it. Just look under my name. I think I did 2. One for the Headlights and one for the Taillights.
