Well my friend picked one up about a month ago and today was the first day I got to ride in it. He got it in the Blue color with the gold rims, which looks nice. One of my favorite parts about the car is the interior. I love how the blue interior matched his exterior color. Anyway under the hood looks way to complicated for me. Nothing is infront of you, its all hidden.
Thats besides the point, simply because this car hauls serious ***.
In first gear you can spin all four tires, which is great.
I know I might get some snickers for this but we were on the highway going about 130mph and the car wasn't even breaking a sweat. I don't know how many of you drive motorcycles, but that is the only thing that i can compare what we were doing on the highway to. You know when your on your bike (or you see that jerk on the highway on his bike) and hes doing like 100-110 going in and out of traffic just weaving, well thats what we were doing in his car. It felt like every other car was just standing still when he was pushing it. The car can push you back basically in every gear, if it wanted too.
Overall I can honestly say the car IS all it is cracked up to be. I was impressed with the performance, and I have been in some fast cars. I would def consider it a FAST car street car. My other friend has a slightly modded WRX (Intake, exhaust, uppipe, downpipe) and my friend with the STI just absolutley walked him.

When I said "You just have to get it".....I was talking about the stereo equipment and how its all pre-wired and all "you have to do it get it".
So I don't know what your talking about the looks of the car..........i guess thats just your opinion. I didn't say one thing about the looks of the car and how everyone should get it. So read the whole post.

(:I read what you wrote (:
I know people have their opinions... That's why i stated mine
nobody realizes that the STI does have a stereo option, while the stereo is not standard IT IS AVAILABLE. Too many people complain about having to put a stereo in it, but a stereo is a factory installed option just like any other option, and is installed AT THE FACTORY, not the dealer.
It's fast, really fast, but I don't know if that makes up for the fact that it looks kinda ugly. And yeah, the stereo thing kinda sucks. I mean, you pay 30gs for that car, and not even get some lousy paper speakers and a gay 15x4 cd player?
