My brother is getting a cavalier
He goes to me the other day, Jason guess what i'm getting 2003 cavalier....i'm like no you moron.....one it a chevy and they are just getting bad every year . two i owned one before my civic and it was a *******... 
You sure he wasn't busting your chops? I tell you it's damn peer pressure. I bet all his buddies drive domestics. Oh well.
I do think that the cavalier has gotten better in the looks department since the previous generation, well not really, it just looks more modern. But I still wouldn't choose it over a 7th gen. You should at least try to talk him into getting an Neon srt. Even that's better than the cava, and just priced a little more.

heh focus, you do have to admit, Ford did a pretty good job marketing the focus. They marketed it directly towards Hondas market. Plus it seems they are taking the same approach as Honda Japan is, buy marketing several variations of the focus in North America, eg The ZX3 hatch, ZX5 hatch, the wagon, and sedan.

Rep Power: 0 When Chevrolet Cavlier Got All-New In 1995, and It Got a New Fresh Face For 2000 Then in 2003 It Got New Front and Rear-End Styling and Chevrolet Keeping With The Crappy-Ness and is Offering the 2003 Cavalier as a 2004. Chevrolet Has Been Using The Same Interior Since 1995 Same Interior Color's "Black" and "Tan" and They have Been Using The Same Fabric. It Still Re-sembles a 1992- To 1996 Saturn SC2 Coupe Cause it Has Center Power Window Controls and The Power Door Lock Buttons Are On The Front Door's all I am Saying it's a Piece of JUNK!!!. I can't Believe I Almost Coursed My Mom Into Getting me a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe for My 20th Birthday last Year. and If She Did It'd probaly Be having Probelems and I would be un-Happy. BTW A couple Of Months Ago Chevrolet Said They Were Going to Offer An All-New 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier based on the Saturn Ion Plat-Form. They Did'nt they Are Still Offering the 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier A.K.A. ****-Zu.

I Know Some-one who was Minding Her own Bussiness Driving Around Town in Her 2003 Ford Focus SE Sedan With Automatic Transmission With Her Son and All of Sudden The Car Alarm Went Off and She Took it To The Dealership and They Dis-ingaged The Power Door Locks Whitch Connects to The Car Alarm and Now She Has To Lock The Car Manually.

Rep Power: 311 Dude - ask him why he wants to get a cavalier. I'm not being a jerk, just ask him. Tell him that for about the same price, you can get a vic, which has better styling - and better reliability. PLUS there are so many options for the civic. The aftermarket isn't as big for cavalier's....
