Hey, you know what...let's just say for a second that it would be the next mainstream car for cops to utilize.....Well, it would be very smart considering that it is a rally car...And some chases do indeed go off-road. Woohhoo!!!

haha, no doubt, that is one hell of a mean looking cop car, I started drooling as soon as it poped up. I thought a regular WRX looked nice, that car just looks bad *** with the lights.

Ya know, I just realized that the picture is probably photoshoped.....
Look at the lights in the grill, theres no reason for them to give off as much haloing as they are in Broad Daylight...... at most they shoud be just a low glow like the headlights. the rest of it, like the Light rack on top is easily done in Photoshop. Trust me, I work with photoshop all day.... Its my job. SO I call BS untill more photos emerge.
Also, Look at the seats, the Drivers seat is obviously a performance seat while the pasenger seat is Stock.... That is not a Cop car.

dude just cause you can work with photoshop doesn't mean you're a photographic genious. The pic is real for the following reasons:
1) on the lights you claim should be dimmed because of broad day light, if the camera was positioned straight in front of them they would appear just as bright. Realize the distance from the car, the amount of sunlight facing the camera, the angle of the sunlight, the color and intensity especially of the lights themselves, etc. If the sunlight were to be hitting the lights themselves, they would be dimmed. However, because they are behind the grille, the sunlight does not affect them so much and they are more easily seen.
2) Note what you did say about the lights needing to be dimmed is a fair assumption. If you look at the light rack above the sub. you'll see that they themselves ARE dimmed (not turned off) and this is the result of the sunlight hitting them and dimming them in front of the camera.
3) The position of the seats causes you to be UNABLE to tell whether or not they are performence or stock. If you pay attention to the angle of the passenger seat, is relatively less upright and more obtuse than the drivers side seat. The shape of the headrests is identicle if you picture it. The seats are the same and one, if they are stock, they're both stock, if not stock, then both aftermarket.
4) If you check out the effect of the sunlight on the car (white reflection off plastic) you'll see you have the same effect on the light rack above the car. This is a detail that isn't so easily photochopped to the degree that THIS picture shows.
5) Look under the scanning lights in the grille, you can see where the light breaks up due to the plastic pieces of the grille blocking some light and letting other light go through. (this is shown in the 3-4 "dots" of light under the scanners)
6) if you look right above the drivers side side view mirrors, you'll see the light they blind drivers with. This is the ultimate evidence that this pic isn't chopped simply because it has a shadow and a reflection. A reflection that, if noted carefully, has a crevice along the lines of the hood, and also a reflection of the side view mirror on itself.
So next time don't go frettin' about chops just cause you can't believe what your mind can't imagine.

I doubt its a photoshop. Haloing can occur as glare to the camera lens, or if the intensity is high enough. Plus it's inside the grill, where it is dark. The halo doesn't extend much outside the grill area.
Also, the light above the driver's side rear view mirror is only on police vehicles (it looks like the backside of a light that can be twirled). If you notice, it has the reflection of the car next to it, which is red. You can tell there's a red car because the WRX fender shows the red car. Also, if you look at the hood, the swivel light is in the reflection. That's a lot of trouble to do.
Frankly, that's way to much trouble to show people "hey this is what a WRX cop car would look like." Not to mention that's its pretty well done. I work with photoshop a good deal, abiet not my chief responsibility in my profession.

I didnt say it was, I sad it probably was photoshoped. I think you'd be suprised at what you can occomplish whith that program, especially if you get to ouput in such a lossy format as .Jpeg (Little errors get covered up by the compression).
Maybe I'm wrong, but there are just some parts of the image that just dont look right. and untill I see photos from a different angle.....
