Those pictures were pretty funny! I was like... I don't know... I use to drive like that, untill I watched Initial D. And I saw Takumi sitting all straight, and yea... I never leaned over to the middle like that, that's just too weird.

I care! Those dumb asses can't even control the damn car. On the freeway, one of those stunnazzz couldn't keep the car inside his lane on a curve and almost hit my girl. But even after beeing honked at for almost hitting someone, he was still freakin running into other lanes and barely hitting the wall. I don't care if he harms himself, but if he harms others because of pure stupidity, then I care.

LOL, I use to think that I sat pretty straight 'til I got my WRX. After a few full throttle blasts, I found myself looking out the windshield from the bottom of my eyes, every time the turbo spools up. Now I sit like an old lady. Even my passengers will straighten their seats out after I do a hard launch.

Damn right. When trying to look "cool" prevents you from being able to fully control your vehicle, then that's dumb (knock on wood). When I put my seat back all the way I can't press the brake all the way in. I don't have to tell you how that's a safety hazard.

Besides, some of the people who act like this when they drive let that "cool attitude" spill over into their driving and end up driving like maniacs. This endagers other people's lives.

Besides, it just looks stupid and I like making fun of it

Thats why I laugh at people who hold on to the steering wheel with one hand at the top. That has to be the most Unstable way to hold the steering wheel ever.

Actually I would think that 6 o'clock would be the most unstable, but 12 o'clock isn't much better, although I find myself doing it from time to time.

I HATE THESE KIDS!!!

they drive, with their seats back...

and they old the steering wheel and crouch up to it, like they are doing "curls" with weights, and they dont wear seat belts...

they are holding their body weight up by holding on to the steering wheel!

FU.CKIN DUMBASSES!

give them all tickets!

they didnt get their licence driving like that, they were all yes sir/no sir, 10 and 2 punks!

Why do Mexicans lean toward the center of the car while driving?

They think the smell is coming from outside

Like you're getting ready to take a SHARP *** curve, really fast.... do you slide to the opposite direction to counter-act the G force of the turn to still be able to control the car?

It looks like i'm riding a bike, when i shift positions. Bad bad bad bad me. I drive too fast.
actually thats a bad thing to do...... Leaning in to the corner like that gives you less control of the steering wheel, so Stop it! Seriously, when you do that you have a harder time making thouse slight steering corrections that you allways need to make in corners. If you find your self doing that all the time, then I'd suggest geting a Harness or some sport seats. Cause thats what they are designed to Stop you from doing.

Schroth makes some good Street legal Harnesses .

I use this thing my self (when I autocross)

A friend of mine drives his car with the seat back touching the rear seat. It was quite funny to see. What he does, is use his right arm (elbow) as a support so he can see out the windshield. I asked why he drove in such a rediculous manner and he replied it was the _only_ way he felt comfortable. I told him he looked like a moron, and he laughed.

I should by him some elbow pads =P

I sit pretty straight and lean back a little, not to much though. Other than that I just drive like a bat out of hell.

I sit pretty far leaned back.... but thats how I drive. I guess its bad for my posture but I slouch down in my chair. Its comfy. I don't drive like an idiot though, i hardly ever go over the speed limit either. I'm too cautious of hitting pot holes, gettin rock chips, etcc.... Most people consider the way i sit gangsta lean, but whatever.

LOL...funny. Since i got a 5-speed most of the time im driving wit just my left on the wheel because i like to shift quick n its just a pain to constantly have to put both hands on the wheel ...but on highways n stuff i have 2 hands on the wheel. And i hate leaning back. Its actually easier to drive sitting closer to the wheel , i noticed, because u see everything better.
