Turbo Cavalier pic
220HP Turbo Cavalier (2003). have seemed to figure out whats going on, while the imports are falling behind. Dont forget the Focus RS is coming too (almost no way that Ford could not release the RS in the US now).
This pic is from SEMA
kinda looks like mustang

Yuppers actually only Honda and Toyota are falling behind. Mazda, Dsm, and Subaru all have turbo charged cars in the sport compact class. While Nissan has he Sentra Vspec. Which out powers the Civic, and gives the Rsx a run for its money.

I rather see Honda and Toyota produce something that has power in the NA category, I guess theres the S2000 but something less pricey even though the S2000 is worth every penny.
True enough but a NA will not have as much low end torque as a turbo car. In my opinion, Honda should add a turbo engine as a option just like VW. That way buyers get a choice of either the hybrid engine, D17A SOHC Non-Vtec, D17A SOHC Vtec, K20 DOHC i-vtech, and either a D17A Turbo or K20 Turbo.

from the november 2003 issue of sport compact car, page 40, rumors & lies section:
"Whispers from deep inside Honda have at least one Civic coupe running around with an RSX Type-S drivetrain as a proposed new Civic Si. Let's hope so."
something to think about... as well as pray for

My swap project this winter does not include a Turbo...I love N/A! I don't have anything against Turbo's either...just like it N/A.

I would never take an American based ricer... I would never hesitate to take the Ford Focus RS or the WRC though, just b/c everything is European based...
That Cavalier looks kinda like a Tiburon...

I'd look sad if I were a Cav too...a Turbo might bring a smirk across my face though
