I support the H2 for what it is, NOT for what the idtiot owners do with it
I support the BMWs for what they are, NOT for what people do with them.
I like the BMW that started out as, NOT for what it is in that picture.
Ignorance? No. I think not.
The H2 is an amazing machine. Not everyone likes the looks
The BMW is an amazing machine. What? I can't have my opinion on its looks, now?
I'm not bashing what the car is. . . although you don't see the owners trying to drive over statues with them. But to say I'll support one and not the other for no apparent reason is pure folley.

WOW! I always wanted to see what a ****ing moron would do with am M3. Now I can finally see.
The hood is completely retarded looking.
The doors are stupid.
The eyebrows ruin the headlights.
The front lip looks like $4 rice.
The side skirts are 1993 rice style.
HORRIBLE.

lets see: hoods gay, eyebrows on head lights defeat the purpose of headlights, that front bumper looks like the pooper scooper i use to clean up my dog's ****, not really feeling the rivit rims, but the lambo conversion kit was a nice touch to look very strange. the doors should have had longer rods so that the doors could come up a little more vertical. kinda looks like a rich kid's half a$$ed attempt to join the "fast and the furious elite"

Would someone please tell me what all the holes in the hood really do? Far as I can see they're not functional. In fact, all I see is the top of the intake manifold.
And those (ram-air wannabe scoops) on the hood. . . WTF? They're not cooling a damn thing, and the don't apparently feed the engine any additional air.
WHOLE HOOD = useless.
Gull wing doors = useless
Rear spoiler = useful (appears it would produce some downforce)
I dunno. . .seems like they were trying to beef-up the performance and add a lot of style at the same time.
Well. . . one out of two isn't bad.

No no no. . . my final comment was in reference to form over function.
The mods you don't see were well worth it.
The ones you DO see. . . . well. . . like I said. One out of two.

Alright, the defense takes the field.
First of all... The hood is quite functional.
1. The M5 V8 has TWIN air boxes... conviently located directly under those 2 hood scoops.
2. Underneath the Intake manifold cover, each cylinder has an individual equal length runner (they're all open and aimed in different directions so equal air goes in each cylinder... it's not like what you would see on a Chevy SB)... that makes the manifold quite tall. If you look at the plexiglass section, you'll notice that the front of the cover is pretty damn close to the hood.
3. The cowl is a good old trick of running more air under the hood. I have a funny feeling that the engine is quite a tight fit... even with the 3.2L I6, its a pretty snug fit.
The front splitter is functional. Hamann can't charge $1000+ for a front air dam for nothing. The holes next to the fog lights... can you say brake ducts? I don't see whats wrong with the side skirts, they look like the ones on 1/2 your cars. Those wheels are $900 a piece and you wish you had them, the roof is Carbon fiber.
oh yeah... It appears to be intended as a SHOW CAR. Yet some how... its a shitload faster, and doesn't look gawdy at all.
Its cool to waste a Skyline GT-R or Supra by stuffing it full of Subs, Screens and Neons, but some how this is worse?? I don't get it.

HOWEVER. . . that is most certainly NOT the style most BMW buyers would go for. . . I'm just wondering who the hell the intended market is.
Overly-spoiled kids of the filthy rich?

The major problem I have with the styling of that car is that it appears to be a Civic-wannabe in the styling department. Loses MAJOR points in my book. . . trying to look like a car that's 1/4 the price.
yeah i do agree, that one doesnt look too great IMO, but like boilermaker says, its functional. all i was saying is that my dad gets all the bmw magazines cause he owns a bmw, and some of the hamann ones are really nice. all they will have is a nice body kit (not too overdone), lowered, and some 18s and they look really good.
