I doubt it will have a k series motor, I am willing to be though that what they did to acheive this output is a port and polish, full engine balancing, new pulleys and a lightend flywheel. I have a friend with a 98 si that with huge engine mods which included port and polish and many more he squeezed out about 180 hp out of the d16 sohc vtec, with nitrious of course.

I actually read the article for this in the magazine when it came out a while ago. And considering that it is dated on March 2003, it was a while ago. I don't know how to get this though, do you ask the dealer?

The dealer charges upwards of $3500 for the "FP" Civic. It's a mild suspension upgrade and some new wheels. 160 HP would be nice if the price stayed the same. Sorry, if I was in the market for a pocket rocket the SRT-4 wins hands down. Nothing can touch it for the price. 215 HP, 0-60 in under 6 seconds and a 7 year warranty. I'll take mine in black please.
