Skyline = G35. Same basic car, same basic price. It's not the GT-R.

There are more variety of trims, and there's a sedan that comes with chain-variable-tranny. Engine's are the same, they have more variety of weaker lower trims.

Top of the line price is about 31k. Nothing that's not in the US.

Edit: Oh yeah, there's also a 4WD sedan, but comes with a weaker 2.5L engine.

280hp for the 3.5 (272 on sedan for some reason), 260 for 3.0, 215 for 2.5.

I've loved the G35 ever since it came out. I dunno, but if I had 36 grand, I would rather get a g35 6speed than the STI, EVO, S2000, or whatever at this price range.

I think this car is the best luxury sports car right now. And I know some would rather get the 350z, but I dunno. Seems like as I get older, I appreciate luxury more, not just speed. Like some, I'd rather look good in a fast car, than look ugly in a hella fast car. Anyways, this car has a lot of potential if it's part of the skyline heritage. I've read that it's not exactly a GT-R, but hey, they have Tein Flex for the G35 already. The engine is pretty much the same as the 350z with 7 less hp. So I can sense someone will eventually turbo a g35.

$36k for a G35?!?! where the hell are you from? canada? pretty much everything from the 350Z will fit the G35, and most likely, **** from the FX35/45 will fit. that means V8, people.... AWD, can you sense where im going with this?? they share platforms, and its not exactly rocket science what nissan will do next.

EDIT: btw, this is REALLY old news.

I know it's old news latenightninja. Damn, everytime you post something now...you waste my time. It's your awesome sig man, I always end up staring at it for like 5 minutes...haha.

I can see what you're saying though, this means awd coming soon...haha. I'm just happy that people are still all psyched and keep finding stuff about the g35. Most of my friends hate the way it looks, so ya know, i'm like the guy with the weird taste in my crowd.

Are you saying 36 grand is too much for this car? It's still kind of hard to get this car, so you're not going to get it close to invoice. You're price is going to be closer to msrp. Here's Edmunds True market value price. http://www.edmunds.com/new/2003/infi...e..1.Infiniti* . So with tax, you can see why a 6 speed would cost that much. Oh, and this is with the premium package option. I guess when I tell you prices, I should tell you everything else I would want on the car... But even without the $2000 option, 36 grand is still a pretty good estimate price out the door.

PS is that Aguillera?

I think this car is the best luxury sports car right now
i think thats a bit of an overstatement. you're saying that the G35 is better than the M3/5, the AMG cars, and porsches? im sure you meant that for the 30 odd grand that the G35 is the "best" car you can get. please tell me im right...

Yeah...i'm talking about luxury cars for mid 30 grand. But I'd still rather get the G35 than the M3. I just love the way it looks too much. Different taste.

And I'm sorry, but I guess my family and me always talk about prices out the door, so with taxes, it's close to 36 grand. And like I said before, I was giving my price with the Premium package option which is an extra $2000. So your KBB price would be pretty much the same price as I gave if you add in the extra 2000 bucks that was in my price.

I know I'm not wrong about my price and hope you now know that this car will cost you $36,000 out the door with taxes and that $2000 option. I don't really mind talking to you about this, b/c i just love seeing that chick shake her thang...haha.
