Question Opinions please

Ok, right now I pay $347 a month for my civic ( I had no credit at the time or a down payment) and I now pay $300 a month for insurance. The car is insured under my parents name and we get that discount where the more cars you have the lower it is. So like 4 months ago Farm Buearu decided to raise my insurance to $300 for no damn reason. I have a clean record. I used to pay about $200 a month, I'm 22 right now.

I also been thinking about trading my civic in for the rsx type s. I went to check to see how much the monthly payment would be and the insurance. Well it came to be that my car payments would come out to be $430 a month and insurance would come out to be $190 a month if I got a type s. I also checked to see how much the insurance would be under my own policy, what a shocker, its the same as the type s.

Those were the best quotes I couuld get with all the shopping around I did. Now I am really tempted to get the type s since I'm already paying more right now with the civic. Would you guys go ahead and make the trade if you were in this situation?

YES! In fact, I'm going to the dealership today right after work to check out the Type-S and see what they can do for me. I'm not trading in my car though. I'm selling it to my cousin.
