Bodyshop trying to screw me over! Need Help!

Hey everyone, I just recently went to the bodyshop to have a few parts of my car painted, which I told would be covered under warranty.

I showed the guy my car and he said he'll take care of it for me, I live in NJ btw.

Now he wants me to pick up my car and wants to charge $650, what can I do? Don't I have to sign a contract or something first? Help!!

Bust out your warrenty sheet and let him take a look at it. They cant say that it'll be covered by warrenty and then charge you. Sounds to me like theyre trying to rip you off.

I don't know if in NJ you can do this but in California if they don't have a contract or estimate sign by you then you can just call the sherif and force them to give you your car with out you having to pay them.
