how much should i pay for tint??
I have no idea since this is my first time getting windows tinted. I also don't know how dark to get it. Anyone know the legal limit in sc? Do you have any pics of the darkest legal limit? I dont really care about that but i don't know if like limo tint will look good on my car. How much should i expect to ay for 4 windows, back window, strip on the windshield?
Thanks,
Chris
Thanks,
Chris
120! damn thats a lot, I guess depends where you get it, but most shops that do good jobs, with warranties cost prob like 70-100 at most, I got my Civic tinted for 75 bucks with warranty for 3 years, color of tint doesnt affect price so dont sweat it

I've called all around town here and most places want about $150. That seems to be the going rate, at least around here. Don't settle for anything less than a lifetime warranty, if the place doesn't offer a lifetime, that doesn't say much for their confidence in their work. Also, here is a linky that'll take you to a site with the tint laws. After the page opens up, just click US or Canadian tint laws and there you have it.

Yeah .. that $150 is here, I'm not sure if it'll be less, or more there. But lifetime warranty is best, but 3 years isn't bad. Just depends on how long you want to worry about it. If you aren't going to have the car in 3 years, skip the lifetime. If you're going to have the car for awhile, then get lifetime so it's 1 less thing to worry about if it starts to peel off.

I'm considering getting a very light blue tint similar to the kind found on Jetta's/Mercedes/BMW. Does anyone know what exactly this type of tint is called? As far as I know, it's just "a light blue window tint" but there has to be some name for it. Anyway, if anyone knows, PM me it pls. thx.
I paid $200 for mine here in Michigan. But I have 2 extra windows, it would have been $150 for a coupe.
The tint is top of the line, with a lifetime warranty.
Also, make sure that you ask whether or not the back windshield is 1 piece or 2 pieces. Cause it looks 10 times better when it is only 1 piece (what I have of course).

Okay i may be too late for this one, but I don't feel like reading to see it. I paid 129 dollars total for my tint. It was 35% on sides and 20% on the back. I have a lifetime... nationwide warantee. So if it ever cracks bubbles peels chips shifts discolors tears or scuffs... they fix it for free. anywhere too. I dont remember the company right now, but i have my warantee in my glove box, so i can get it to you later. there are authorized dealers in most all states. so yould be good to go if you got what i did.
