Rep Power: 0 who was the first......
well, i'm sure it wasn't me, but who was the first to have their 7th gen civic? In my area anyways, the sedans came out first, then the coupes two weeks later. When I bought my '01 sedan ex 5 speed the dealer didn't even have any coupes yet, and it was october 2000. Who else had bought their car so early? It's gonna be three years pretty soon....

Rep Power: 0 yeah, if it wasn't for the stupid lease deal honda offers on the civic, there wouldn't be sooooo many of the damn things around, shaving helps somewhat, but they're still everywhere.

Rep Power: 0 I was the first that I know of to have one at Northern Arizona University (my school) and I one of the first to have one in Flagstaff, Az. Even though, I didn't get mine until Sept. 01.

Rep Power: 0 i got mine in May of 2001...May18 to be exact. I was the only one in the area to get one that early, come June there were quite a few though. To this day, i have the most heavily modified one in my area (Santa Cruz). There are only a few others with rims, maybe a couple with exhaust, thats it though...no body kits, lowered civics around here other than mine.

Rep Power: 310 I brought mine home mid-late 2000 about a year after I got my learner's permit. I'm pretty sure I had the only one. At the time there were only 2 on the dealership lot, my crap DX and an FP EX. I remember I went out the next morning in my sleeping clothes just to set the radio. I loved that morning. The good ol days!
Now just about everyone + their mothers have a 7th gen. Most coupes in my area are driven by youngsters though. I started the trend! WEWT!
I found out late about this site though. I was searching through Google.com last year for civic stuff, and I came across teh old site. I'm glad that there is a specific site for 7th gens. This site's been such great help and is a cool community as well. My friend with a Mirage is trying to find out how to take his door apart so he can install speakers, but nothing. They've got no site like this to help them out.

Rep Power: 0 I bought my 2001 EX 5spd coupe in November of 2000. I was the first one in my town to own one. Actually, I didn't even see any in the area until about a month after I bought mine.

Rep Power: 283 Bought mine in February/March of 2002. . . . I know I had seen one or two before that, but not modded. After I bought it, I noticed a few more . . . like last summer. Now I see them everywhere. . . mainly women driving them.
I get plenty of stares when I drive mine, though. . . . there are a few well-modded 7th Gens in my area, but I think I get the stares because mine's not overdone. I think it shocks some people. By the end of the summer I'll know if I have the most modded one in Washington State. Would be strange for someone to have put more into their car than I have and NOT show it at one of the three huge shows in the Seattle area, this summer. More to come on that.
