damn man I lived in danville til I was ten, went to Greenbrook and lived on canfield drive.
I think your choice depends on you. I'd get the X-Type or A4 if you need a "classy" elegant car. My dad had an A6 tt and had tons of little things go wrong with the turbos. An S4 would be tight as hell though.
The Evo is just bad ***. But please swap out the tails on it.

I'd say the EVO probably but its hard to take it from us because we're all into tricking out our civics, and an A4 or an X-Type aren't exactly tuner cars. I am a bigger fan of the A4 than the X-Type, but I'd still say EVO.
Do not get an X-type or any jaguar for that matter. MY ex-girlfriends parents are currently going through legal proceedings to get their money back on their x-type or to get a replacement car. They bought it a little over a year ago and it has been through 2 transmissions, among other things. So if you actually want to drive your car and not have it in the shop, then dont get the jaguar. In my opinion, Id get an A4. the new ones look good and are good cars, but they can be tricky too. Basically you have 3 very different cars that you're looking at that can barely be compared and 2 of them arent exactly good quality.
I sure wish my car was newer

The EVO doesn't do anything for me. It's got an awkward looking front end, hood scoop, and spoiler. It just doesn't look classy. I personally care about looks just as much as (maybe more than) performance.
Jaguar X-type... too much of an old man car, plus, the styling isn't all that great. I've also heard quite a few bad stories about their quality. For the money, you can do better.
Audi A4 - This would be my personal choice. They've got great aftermarket support from APR (www.goapr.com) and they're great cars. The S4 is probably a little more money than you want to spend, even though it has a big new V8. The others are all I4s (1.8T) or 3.0L 6s. I think their styling is way ahead of the others, and you can still get QUATTRO to satisfy your AWD craving.

A4, S4, S2000, the new RX-8 isn't all that cool - kinda reminds me of a saturn. I did see a Mazda 6 the other day. It had a full roll cage, black leather seats, yellow paint, 4 point belts. It was hot for a four door. I don't know if i comes in a 2 door...............just my 2 cents anyways.

Hrm .. I'm just going to go ahead and recommend the A4 for style and elegance. The EVO for an expensive Playstation and the X-Type for all show. Personally for the $$'s I would pick something else. I'm not sure what though .. hehe. My next car is slotted to be an S2000, but not for certain yet. I'll look at other cars in and around it's class and price range. I guess for the price range and type of car you are looking for. Have you considered a Acura 3.2 CL Type S? Those things come in 6 speeds, are fast and luxerious. Just an idea. I sat in one at the car show and was like .. o oooo o .

Rx8 reminds me of the new Tiburon in a way. Just the way it looks from a certain angle. But the Rx8 is better than the Tiburon... . Maybe a 350 Z, those are cool to drive. Of course if money isn't an option then there is a huge list of cars I could give you, just depends on the style you want. Just keep us posted on your decision so we can help you out. I hate to see someone get a car then a few months later. They are still happy, but wished they would have done something different. Like for instance. I keep kicking myself for not getting an EX, but I'm still happy with my LX.

if your buying this car as a keeper for the next 10+ years... i would go for x type or A4. as you know, evos change their appearence every 2-3 years. on the other hand, jags' line of cars all have a consistant style, the shape of the car "never" changes (except for a few curves.) while the A4 will change theirs every 6-7 years?
so, on the long run, jags for sure.

If you looking to spend between the upper 20's to lower 30's... why not go for the car that looks like it. The A4 all the way. The X-type would probably be in the same category, but I think it's made by Ford, so I'm not feeling it.
