2003 SLP Engineering
Looks ugly imo
"Refusing to let the demise of the Camaro and Firebird stop them from offering high-performance vehicles, the people at SLP Engineering have four new cars and two new trucks for 2003. The cars are all variants of GM's front-wheel-drive W-chassis: Pontiac Grand Prix, Buick Regal, Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Chevrolet Impala. The trucks are hunkered-down versions of the Ford Ranger and Chevrolet Blazer. The cars are available in three levels of modification--which SLP calls Stages--ranging from a 15- to 30-hp boost. At the top of the list are the factory-supercharged Stage 3 SLP Pontiac GTX and SLP Buick GSX, both with 270 hp. These two offer cat-back exhaust mods, a cold-air induction system, a 180° thermostat, custom computer programming, new rocker arms and increased supercharger output. The SLP Impala LSX and SLP Monte Carlo SS are not yet available with a supercharged V6. So for now, in Stage 3 form, they make 225 hp. All can be equipped with a suspension and brake package that includes fatter tires, large antiroll bars, lower springs and improved brake pads. On the truck side, the SLP Ranger Thunderbolt is available in four levels that include suspension tweaks, unique bodywork, interior trim and a cat-back exhaust upgrade. The SLP Blazer Adventure gets a similar treatment plus a 30-hp boost over stock.--B.S."

ok, SLP mainly works with GM. and the lightning bold is a patented design by SVT. the svt version of the lightning bolt i saw was alot different than that plastic cladded POS. they have one of those at a local dealer and the only mod it has besided the ugly mod is a flowmaster muffler and dual tips. the real SVT version has like 500 something HP and TQ and uses the Lightning motor. and the SVT i saw had none of that BS body cladding on it. anyhow if the truck pictured had the ***** to match its "Aggressive" look it might be cool, but since it doesent i think its a little gay.
