late car payment
you should have like a 13 day grace period dude. its on your payment book. I am latee all the time due to me being payed on the first and I have to send payment to OH so I am usually 2-3 days late
He is right....you should call the finance company and just make them aware of you gonna be late...they will note it and everything should be cool. You should have like a 10 -13 day grace period, but you should still call them. Just to cover your ***.

First of all
you need to call whoever financed your car, then ask them about their policies regarding late payments, most places offer a 7-15 day grace period on payments, I'm truly hoping that you didn't get a special offer on your interest rate and now you will lose it since you are making a payment late. if you have the money now, I suggest you find a way to make a payment NOW, even though there is a grace period, it still sort of ruins your relationship with the lender, it will have effect on the decision of your next car purchase, considering you are financing through the same means. However, if it's only your first time, then don't sweat it, people make mistakes, just call them and let them know you can send the payment out on Thursday and to put a note on your account that you will because believe me, you will get a call on Thursday if your payment is not recieved by the due date (Wednesday)

Now, I can just get online and pay that sucker. I pay every bill I have online except the car note. I don't know why I never checked the honda site.
I am used to getting my note and sending it out the same day or the next. They don't give you much time. I always worry about it getting there.
yeah you generally always have a grace period. And even if you don't or go over the grace period, it will generally not be put marked on your credit report until its over30 days late. And that pretty much goes with most bills. If its less than 30 days late it won't be put on your credit report. I work for a mortgage company this summer and all I do is check peoples' credit.
