check this out....

hey everyone check out this custom civic... most of it is rice but the thing that interests me is the trunk..notice the shaved trunk. does anyone know how to do this and how much would it cost. thanks..heres the link

shaving emblems is easy..

piece of floss or fishing line, stick behind emblems and pull..

it will leave stickyness and you just take goo-gone to remove and then use a paste of wax to clean up and protect paint..

BAH! its in the DIY section too..

as for removing the "H" on the trunk, you'll have to either bondo yourself or take to body shop..

his key for trunk lid is not even on the trunk so he didnt even shave that, but if you do it on your car, like i said, take it to the body shop or bondo yourself..

i think he's talking about the liscense plate holder. There isn't one! Pricing i don't know but i would like to do that too.

Second that, a very good body man especially if your ride is lowered and rough. You will have alot of fill (bondo) or fiberglass work. The more shaking and raddling the greater the chance for cracks. Let the professionals do it BUT it will cost mucho $$$

they would usually weld a plate matching the opening, then smooth it out, bondo it a bit, primer, spray, and you're all done.

I think I remember reading from a memeber that it costs between $500 and $700 to get the trunk shaved like that
