interest rate for 608 fico point

im planning on buying 03 civic coupe ex a/t
ive dealt with sales and i ended up with $15,825+++
think its pretty nice price since its msrp is $18,070+++
also heard that buying under the invoice is kinda hard in honda
anyway, i gotta finance for this car but my credit is not good.
i have 608 fico score from equifax.com
salestax in my state is 3% and there r $198 doc. fee and $61 tag.
so probably i should finance about $16,000.
whats expected interest rate for me?
just estimate..
608 fico score and $16,000 loan in NC

1. Welcome to the forums.

2. You shopped around for the car, now go online and shop around for a loan.

3. If you live in North Carolina, what are you if you are not an American?

4. Try and stay on the boards a bit before you start telling people to shut up. It is pretty rude and I doubt anyone would want to help you after your little diatribe.

5. If you are going to act pretentious, then either learn to type or learn to spell. Your lack of correct spelling, grammar, and capitalization make it rather hard to take you seriously. It takes seconds longer to make a message correct, but the impression lasts far longer.

FYI, I am quarter Japanese, so I do understand about the language barrier. Maybe it just amazes me that in Japan, they work their tails off to learn a very hard language and English. My friend Julia is over there right now and she was amazed at how much effort they all put into it. I personally think you should always try to put your best foot forward as it does reflect on your own character.

You might want to try Lendingtree dot com. They actually take your information once and get a bunch of companies to offer you thier best rates. A dealership will almost always mark up your contract at least 1 percentage point. It is easier, but not always in your best interest. Too bad Honda is not offering a low rate on the Civic, but numerous other companies should offer you something very low. As long as the server is secure (meaning there is a link that starts with https and there is a lock on the bottom of your browser, it is just as secure as if you sent it in by mail or in person. Most applications are done with a computer, so by you sending it in, the information can be more accurate. Other places are credit unions and maybe even your bank is offering a good rate.

Basically, you fill out an application in your browser, it gets sent to the main computer and if everything is approved, they can arrange to have a check sent to your dealer. You walk in sign the registration, sign the check and leave.
