sweet car bro. enjoy it.
It looked really nice kitted out.
I just hope the aftermarket embraces that car.
I hope they don't turn their back on it like they did to the 7th gen (JK)

Power is good for those cars. Old ones came with 250 I belive, but they had turbos pushing it. This time around, its 250 on engine alone. And you can bet your *** that they will come out with blowers and turbos and what not for this car. Just look at RSX and even SI.
To the buyer, congrats dude. It's sweet *** car, color is right too. Juss take care of it, dont readline it every gear, all the time
You lucky bastard ..

IMO that is the worst temporary replacement for the RX-7 that they could have ever done. A non turbo Rotary with tricked out rear doors???? Complete disaster. I think I'll stick with the good old RX-7 with a turboed Rotary and 2 DOORS!!! To each his own though. Have fun.

Congrats on the new car....she's pretty..
I don't like that 4 door coupe style type of thing though...it takes away from the sportiness with those extra lines in the car..

Awesome ride, awesome color, sounds like a pretty good deal too for a car that hasn't even hit the streets yet.
I like how the RX-8 looks 90% like a 2-door sports coupe, but has a useable backseat that is actually easy to get into, if you carry more than 1 passenger around often, this would be quite a benefit. Plus it will have big time aftermarket support, guaranteed, within the first year of production, unlike our 7th gen Civics, as someone wisely pointed out.

People who DONT like this car KNOW NOTHING about it...why dont you go read about it before you bitch about it! I LOVE THAT CAR
They designed the 1.3 rotary in such a way where they mounted the motor further back into the engine bay and further down giving it a perfect 50/50 weight distribution....giving it i bet an AWESOME handeling car....PLUS comparing it to those V6 200-250 hp engines this rotary engine is 90 lbs lighter!!! Those engineeres would kill for that 90 lbs
I read an article that was comparing the 350z and the rx-8 and they mentioned the Z being more muscular, edgy, and bit bulky. The rx-8 in comparison being light, nimble and intuitive.

Wow that is a sweet car....Especially in that blue. Maybe you should of put more money down as a deposit....That is alot of money to be paying towards a car for 6 years. Thats a really long loan. Do you realize that in 6 years you would of had to pay $35k plus towards that car.....and you only make $29,000 a year. You are going to be working for your car. Forget about going out to dinner or spending any money if its not on your car payment.....I would think about it before jumping into such a high payment.....I wouldnt do it if it was me.....just my $.02

I set certain product lines in new Lowes store before they open. I have been doing it for 3 years now I am the best person that they have at what I do. In 3 years only recieved a 7% pay raise. Plus they claim us as exempt for overtime, which they are not suppose to do cause we are not exempt. They pay us salary and thats it. I have been keeping track of all my hours so when the time comes I will be able to collect on my overtime. That check will be huge.

but you just said that the company said you are exempt from over time...I think that means you will never be getting that overtime check
yea he's right, if they decide not to caim you as exempt, it will be from that point forward, you won't get back pay for your overtime. Trust me, same thign happened with my brother. the company isn't dumb enough not to pick up on that loop hole.

Well, it depends on whether they are claiming him as exempt illegally or not. A lot of companies do just that and get away with it all the time. A friend of mine that works for wachovia as an investigator just got a check for unpaid overtime spanning a couple years.
It's amazing how many people know nothing about employment law. That's why companies get away with it.

Yes they are doing it illegally. My best friend use to be the Human Resource person for the company. There was a guy that worked for like 7 or 8 months and quit. He kept track of all his hours and got like 5000 overtime paid to him.
