whats good price for 03 coupe ex a/t??

hm..i ve heard so many times that i should buy a car $1,000 less than invoice price since economy in this country(USA) is not good todays..
so i tried to deal with salesman so that i can get it $1,000 less than invoice..
but nobody was closing to there..they wanted to sell it for even invoice + @..they never gave me even near invoice but more than invoice..i blamed my english since my eng sucks so much and it made me so hard to deal even to talk with salesman..
so i kno it depends on makes and sales person but how much do u think is good price?? like how much less than invoice??
especially for honda 03 civic coupe ex auto
if anyone here bought the same one plz let me kno what u paid for
as this form.. $_____ +++

Just go to a couple different dealers. Say you want this price if they dont give it just leave. They probably werent gonna get you a better deal if you stayed any longer.

Its a game buying a car and you the buyer have to know it and play it well its getting to be the end of the month they will sell you a car below invoice when they get desperit . Make them a offer if they say no leave and most likely they will be calling you in the next few days to negotiate price more suited to your liking . Ive done this many times
for friends myself and family members buying cars I got my sister her focus for 2800 less than the sticker.

Buying any new Honda is tough to get below invoice, even if you do you still have to add tax and title and tag.

Theres a lot of people on message boards that brag about what a great deal they got, but they talk sticker price not final price, and a lot of its a load of crap, IMO. Just my 2¢

I can see getting that much off a Ford, but Hondas have such a high re-sale value that when I read that someone drove off a lot in a 03 Si for $13,500 out the door, I have to laugh. Unless they traded in a 02 EX and really got robbed instead.
