Just bought my first Civic today, 1999 CXi EK. Keen to get started on it

Well I’ve never really worked on a car before so I don’t know exactly what I will be doing, not really interested in much cosmetic stuff. I’d love to do an engine swap to get that lovely VTEC, turbo it, just make it fast really, I’ll probably ask for a lot of suggestions on what to do next on here

I like your plan. I like letting cars speak for themselves cosmetically, and adding a bunch of tacky add-ons takes away from it.

There are tons of threads on forums surrounding 6th gen builds. You’ll find something that speaks to you.

Yeah I agree, I would like to eventually get it resprayed because there are a couple of little dings throughout but I would like to keep it looking completely stock on the outside at least for the time being.
