Anyone here flush their heater core?

Hi!!! I just bought a used 2007 EX that blows luke warm at best air when on max heat. I've been digging around forums and the internet looking for ways to fix the problem while avoiding tearing out the dash and replacing the heater core(screw that, I'd sell it first haha). I replaced the thermostat because some folks online said it could be a culprit. After replacing the thermostat the air on the drivers side is a bit hotter, but he passenger side air is still cold. I understand that this could also be a blend door issue, but i'd like to try flushing out the heater core. So, here is my issue:

The heater core intlet and outlet hoses that go to the firewall are difficult to reach. to make it easier to flush i'd like to find the other end of inlet and outlet hoses to connect to. Unfortunately, I don't know where those cables go. Pictures would be extremely helpful.
