New Tires

So I think I'm gonna be getting those Motegi MR12s "soon" but still been looking for some tires. Saw a thread in the Wheels forum that was talking about the Yokohama AVS ES100s and I think I'm gonna go for those.

Review on Tirerack.com

What do you guys think? I can find them in these sizes

205/45ZR-16 87W REIN

205/50ZR-16 87W BSW

205/55ZR-16 90W BSW

There seems to be good reviews on it and the price range I've found is between $75-$130. Do you guys think this would be a nice spring/summer tire? And if so, what size should I try to get? The Tire Calc doesnt work for me so I cant tell how it will change when replacing the stock tires.

I'll pay you $50 for your OEM set of wheels and tires and wheel covers. That is if you're getting rid of them...

As for the tires... I'm not too sure if they're good or not. I'de rely on the tirerack reviews though. Hey, you're right. The damned tir calc isn't working! WtF?

I'm thinking maybe an inch or so at some point..depending on how the new wheels and tires look.

And I will been keeping the stocks for winter. Pill already asked me to trade my 15s for the 14s he has. I'll probably get me some nice winter tires though, so we'll talk in about 6 months.

Any more opinions on the Yokohamas though?

those look like decent tires, and i havent heard any bad things about yokohamas...but id choose an all-season ultra high or high performance tire. just because its been raining a lot lately, and all season tires would perform better in all conditions.

thats just my opinion.

these are good choices too i think:
Continental - ContiExtremeContact
Size:205/55-16
$72 Ultra High Performance All-Season

Yokohama - Avid T4
Size:205/55-16
$71 Performance All-Season

I'm not really looking into all season tires cause I'm gonna run my stock 15s in the winter anyway. And all the reviews I've seen on this site and other "pro tire" sites for the ES100s have been positive. They says its great in the rain too. So I think I've finally positive about what I'm gonna get. Just gotta find a place to get them. Unfortunately, not many sites have both the wheel and tire for sale. Usually either one or the other. But I did find 2 though.

http://www.1010tires.com has them for $1,159.16 shipped.

http://www.victoriatire.com has them for $1003.33 shipped.

I think I'm gonna go with 205/55/16 . They tire calc says I should get 215/50/16 but they I cant find those. I know 1010tires is pretty reliable, but do you guys know anything about Victoriatire? I'm gonna make sure that hub centric rings come with my wheels to take care of any fitment/vibration problems before I order.

Whadda y'all think?

Raised a little eh? Well, that has more to do with the tire than the wheel. Does he want just the wheels, or the tires too? What does he have on there now?
