So I ripped off friendlys tonight (by accident)
So the women and I are walking around the mall tonight, and we stoped in friendly. Got some ice cream, and the bill came out to around 5 bucks or so.
Went to the counter to pay and the women, went to the batheroom. Got my change back, and put it into the pocket. Then while I was waiting for the women, I thought i should count my change. So I reached into the pocket and noticed I only had 3 bucks. Told the casher about it, and said I gave a 20, and I should have a 10 and some chage.
So she said sorry, gave me a 12 bucks. I said its ok, and walked out. About that time the women was comming back. So we left
Now 5 hours later, while I sit here, I reached into my pocket to count my loot. Thinking I had about 15 - 16 bucks. I counted 27 bucks. Then it dawned on me. When I reached back into my pocket, I forgot I had 3 ones grouped to togather. Looks like I grapped the wrong wad. Doh!
Kinda feel bad, but oh well, it happens

Hmm... Yeah, that's weird. It's one thing to feel bad about something happening and another to do something about it though. Hehe... So, what are you going to do? Keep the money, or return it?
If it was me I'de probably keep it and justify myself by thinking that Friendly's prices are so high that they make enough money anyway. LOL

Company loss. I worked at Dunkin Donuts a while back too and when we were short nothing really happened. Although when we were REALLY short someone got blamed for stealing. Later on that someone got fired.

Well, in terms of driving, I was saying if you realized it while you were there - an hour's a little long...but yeah, if the drawer is short, and you're the one logged in on the register, your *** is to the wall...and in some places like as I remember in NY, you get it taken out of your wallet...it sucks...

Not much you can really do... As long as you didn't do it on purpose and it was an honest mistake, no harm done... If it was more money though, the person would have been fired... and no, it doesn't come out of the person's pocket...
About it being overpriced, I have to disagree with everyone... If you go to any restaraunt (sp?), I guarantee you'll pay 5 to 6 dollars for a burger, no matter where you go. The only exception to that would be fast food places, where you get what you pay for.... Prices rise over the years and the days of the $2 burger are gone, thanks to inflation and other economic forces, including higher pay scales.....
(Jeez, listen to me!)
