Scary Vinration
I rotated my tires on Sunday along with my rotors. Long story, but I had the rotors on backwards! Anyway, I tried everything out on Sunday to see if there were any problems. I went out on the highway and everything way peachy-keen. I tested my brakes. I tested the steering. Everything seemed fine.
Now, today I go down my driveway and I'm with two other people in the car. I drift into a snowbank on purpose cause I'm goofing off. Hehe, fun. Now, I basically take the same route as before. I get on the highway and there's mad vibration. It's like the whole freakin' car is shaking! It kinda felt as if was coming from the rear.
Anyway, after a bit of driving it goes away completely. At 65mph is was insane, but then at 85mph there's nothing. WTF!? The only thing that comes to mind is that when I drifted into the snowbank some snow got stuck onto the rim and it un-balanced the wheel so severally that it caused the vibration.
I hope it was that 'cause I checked everything out when I got home and I can't find anything wrong. The wheels are securely fastened. The air pressure is right. The camber kit in back is securely fastened. Anyway, it was freaky!

sounds like a messed up wheel man, my friend had the same problem. Check your wheels it could be the issue, the higher speed will have hard vibration, when you reach even higher speeds the "frequencies" get smaller and centripetal force increases, that could be why it seems to go away at 85...good luck though man, and let us know what's for future reference

Yeah, I think I worded that wrong. It only happened for like 30 - 45 seconds and then it went away. Now it doesn't matter what speed I'm going, I don't have any vibration. It happened at 65mph, but now at 65mph it's not there anymore. That's why I thought that it might have been some snow that was stuck onto the wheel. I haven't driven it since I posted, but I'll check everything out tomorrow and go for another test run. Then I'll post the results. I hope nothing like that happens again...
