ALL NORTH EAST PEOPLE READ!!
As some of you know we are planning a big meet in June of 2003 in Lebanon, PA. I know some of you are kind of far, but I am putting this in here in hopes to get some people from southern NY and Southern CT (Bridgeport in da house!! I grew up there!) I am the man in charge of emailing people the news when we start finalizing stuff. Some of you do not have your emails posted. Those of you who want to be emailed about the meet next year, please give me your email. If you do not want it exposed for everyone, send it through a PM or you can IM me. If you do not want to recieve emails at all, please post and I will take u off my list. Thank you.
Rob

How big? It's a 6 hour drive for me, but if it's big enough then I might go. I'de have to find a place to stay the night though. My e-mail address is in my profile, but it will be change by June of 2003, so I don't think it's a good idea to use that one just yet. Wait till a little after 2003 and I'll have a new e-mail address. I hope this thread, or another one related to this meet is resurrected at that time.

it should be big.. we have a nice location this year, both the mid atlantic and north east people wouldn't have to go too far out of their way to attend. we have about 130 known members within a 5 hour driving radius
i'll be working on regional maps to show where people will be driving from, so those who have to drive long distances can meet up with others near them and caravan the rest of the way

I'm just gonna through my little voice in here. YOU SHOULD ALL COME! Last year we had about 25 civic show up...and we had a really good time. It was an all day meet..we had a bbq and everything. This year, we have a planning committee and are working really hard to set everything up and have it well-organized. I know this is really far in advance, but we are just trying to figure everything out, like having enough space to park some place without getting bothered.
So, you need to come to this meet!

A hotel room is fine, but I like camping too. Tough choice. Is anyone else doing the tent thing? That would be kinda k3wl. Bring my tent, portable grill, set up camp, make a fire. Hell yeah! Roast some marshmallows. Hehe... Yeah, I can offer to do some DIY things for people too if they bring something to install...
DIY God huh, yeah... I've done a couple of things. Too bad that I don't have that much money. Otherwise you'de already see my car turbo'de. Oh well, slowly but surely progressing forward... I want to meet some new peeps though, definately.

I'll probably be staying in a hotel. It's not that far from my house (like 3 hours) but why not make a weekend out of it? I'll have Isaac get us the info on that and maybe I work that all out. We'll discuss more as time gets closer!
**Oh yea! In case you don't read the other threads about the meet...Honda Tuning will be covering this meet and we are working on getting someone other coverage from magazines and sponsors as well. So this is definietly going to be the meet!**

If you can't go, it's understandable but we would love to have you if you can make it. If you haven't checked out the thread in the Mid-Atlantic forum; I'm currently working on a little publicity for this meet and the 7th gens.
Honda Tuning WILL be featuring the Mid-Atlantic meet in their mag. next year. I'm also working with the production team for Hi-Rev Tuners and they have shared a great interest in being there and covering the meet. That isn't a definite yet but they are trying to make it one. I've promised both of these companies a great meet.
Please tell all you think would be interested and if you have any questions, or suggestions let me know.

I haven't read the threads in the Mid-Atlantic section fully yet, but I'll be sure to do that soon. It sounds like it'll be a great time though. If I can get at least one other person to go with me then I'm down.

I'm just gonna add that the date may be either July 19th or the 26th. Like Vizyun said, it's not finalized, but it gives everyone more of a general idea. And yea--this meet is gonna be awesome, if all goes as planned!

As of right now, planning is still in the works for everything, but we have a good list of ideas for things to do during the day. We are having a BBQ, a little show and awards thing (working out the details), definitely some games (basketball per Vizyun's request!) We did a couple little installs at last years meet, so that's floating around as well. We are trying to get a professional photographer to come and take some pictures to add to our collection (which I am still working on). If you guys and girls have any ideas, let them be heard! The main thing is, we need to show Honda Tuning and Hi-Rev Tuners what 7thgencivic.com family is all about! So you all better come--that includes girlfriends too (There are plenty of girls who come, so they won't feel left out of the so-called "manly business"--did I just say that, I am ashamed of myself, anyway).
The hotel thing is on our list of things to check into. I am definitely planning on staying over and I'm all up for making this a nice little weekend vacation.
YOU ALL NEED TO COME TO THIS MEET!--NO EXCUSES!
