another speeding ticket
thats 2 in 2 months. time to set the cruise control and grandma mode. This is odd, I havent had a ticket in years then all of the sudden i get them....grrrrrrr

Rep Power: 0 bhaz, you get three per year in terms of speeding tickets...after that, they revoke your license for a while if I remember correctly...then of course there's insurance. If you're in MA, each moving violation is 3 steps up on your insurance policy, and they don't go away for 6 years. Painful!

Rep Power: 0 I got my very first speeding ticket a month or so after I got my car. The cop said I was going 45 in a 30. Anyways, I figured I would go to court and try to fight it. When I talked to the magastrait (sp) he denied it and said that I would be found "responsible". But I requested a regular hearing with a judge. This means that the cop has to show up in court (if he doesn't the ticket is dropped), well the cop showed up for my hearing. I brought a witness (my boyfriend was in the car at the time) and we took pictures of the area where I was pulled over...and where the cop was sitting. I showed everything and my boyfriend went up to testify. Anyways, to make a long story the short..the judge found me not responsible. If you don't think that you were at fault...try to fight it. It's at least worth a shot.
