Track proposed to be built in Plainfield CT

has anyone heard any NEW news about this? for those who dont know.... there was heavy interest in building a NASCAR track with drag strip in a fully encloseable dome. the site was to be at the old dog track in plainfield ct. they have had a couple of zoning meetings now.... and as a union electrician i also have interest in this build.....of course because that means work for me and a place to race.
yes the drag strip would alow some of us to race closer to home rather than travel to englishtown or Leb.valley.

enclosed dome? Wouldent exhaust gases be really bad?

i think i might be moving to socal... not that i would bother taking my car to a track.. but i hear they have nice ones there...

anyway.. the nascar track with strip could happen... but theres no way in hell it would be enclosed.. NE does have a lot of nascar fans.. but for the most part they are all poor whitetrash and would only go to one or two races a year so it wouldnt have the draw... there also are not enough other race groups around that would be able to suport the track... .. ..... also all the NE ricers would not put up the money to use a drag track so we would end up with even MORE asshats racing on public roads...

we need more tractor pulls!!!!!!!
