*NE Opinions on the 2006 Si Concept*
I love it and if Honda retains most of that styling, there will be one in my driveway for sure. Type-S drivetain.....that thing will move.

GOOD GOD! That thing is freakin' sweet. I think I'm gonna stop modding the current vic until I can get some engine specs and possible pricing on that fine a$$ automobile!

from the Honda news website....
"The Civic Si Concept celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Civic Si legacy in the U.S. and builds on its performance heritage with a 200-horsepower, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC engine with an 8,000 rpm red line, mated to a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Helping to put all that power to the ground is a helical-type limited slip differential for improved launch traction and cornering performance."
"The 2006 Civic Si Coupe will be the most powerful, fastest and fun-to-drive Si we've ever put on the street, and the Civic Si Concept sets the direction in terms of its styling, package and performance," said John Mendel, senior vice president of American Honda. "It's part of a new family of Civic vehicles that build on the already class-leading values of the Civic in terms of safety, styling, performance and fuel efficiency."

I like it minus the spoiler. I was never really a fan of the current Si, but as of late, I think it's grown onto me. I'm gonna have to wait and see when the new one comes out though. I'll make my decision after that.

I mean honestly I probably won't buy one. I'll more than likely put about $5K into the vic and boost it....more power and I won't owe anything on it.
Really nice though, and I will consider if something happens and I should be in the market for a new car.

Im not a huge fan of it...I like the head lights, not the grill...it looks like a mini accord from the side...the whole front end looks kinda odd, I like the rear end minus the spoiler...but .... with a 200-horsepower, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC engine with an 8,000 rpm red line, mated to a close ratio 6-speed manual transmission. Helping to put all that power to the ground is a helical-type limited slip differential for improved launch traction and cornering performance. Other performance features of the Civic Si Concept include 18-inch cast aluminum wheels, 225/40R18 high performance tires and 4-wheel disc brakes with large cross-drilled brake rotors and 4-piston Brembo calipers. Id get it JUST for all that stuff!!!

i love it. even though its totally a mini accord coupe, it looks much better than the accord. i think its got a perfect mix of honda and accura lines. curvy but edgy. even though im not in the market, id love to take one for a spin and see what it can do.
i bet there will be quite a lot of aftermarket support for this one.

IDK. I'm not really digging the body design. The back of it looks nice, I love the new taillights but theres something about the front that turns me off. I personally would rather have a 2002 si hatch or a RSX.
if that's how the new civic is going to look...then my 93 accord will do until the relase of the new cvc..
but lets hope they come up with a funky color like Inca Pearl on how they did with the first 7th gen Civic ..

I absoloutely love the look of that car...it just looks so fast. Its nice that stock a civic would have some power....imagine that with a turbo, I bet with a few grand you could get that thing around 300hp at least....then the civic will dominate the streets with both speed and looks
