Boston area: Please recommend a shop for suspension work
Boston area: Please recommend a shop for suspension work
Just bought some Tokico HPs, Neuspeed Sports, and Ingalls Cambers... I've never had any "performance" type work done on my car before. How should I go about finding a good shop to install this stuff? Since the Tokicos have to be drilled out to fit, I want to find a place that has experience putting Tokicos on Hondas.

dude, if ur willing to drive that job would be done in 2 hrs max......i wouldnt be able to perfectly adjust ur camber(it would be close) but it would sure as hell be cheaper than a shop. shops charge like 65 an hr....maybe even more where you live

check out my old car....i did every install myself. i now have an 04 Si and i'm very familiar with the 01-05 ex/dx/lx style...the offer still stands, let me know

Martell Racing in Manchester NH is an hour away...that's the only shop I know that has done the tokicos, since I don't live in Boston. I would suggest you take up Scatman on his offer...$30 in gas and some time out of your day is a lot better than the $500 a shop is going to charge you to put in suspension and do the custom drilling, plus you get to watch/help and make sure it's done right.

yea man, u have nothing to worry about. take a look up there again at the whip. everything on that car, including the exhaust, was done by me on my driveway. me and Mishballzem2 have done countless suspension installs on civics that range from 92-04. Like i said before, i can do the camber kits also, though ive never done them before (and they're not hard to do) and though i cant get the camber perfect as i dont have an alignment rack.....it will be pretty damn close. plus, the money you'll save....but its totally up to you, i figured id throw the offer out there and if u wanna wait, the NE guys have "install fests" at which we help each other out to do projects.
