Boston Area...3dayweekend things to do?
What can I do if I live in Boston on a 3 day weekend?
Other than the usual barhopping and clubhopping.
I have no car

Go to the MFA or MOS? Theres also something called F1 Race Boston or something like that where you drive really fast go-karts...never been but heard about it. See if there is a good concert or game going on in the fleet center
there is an indoor paintball place down by the fleetcenter i think. if i remeber correctly i had to get off the haymarket stop but thats all i remember. go see an imax movie at the museum of science.

the f1 place is there and there are numerous paintball places called boston paintball (many locations) theres one in somerville i go to.
they say 2 feet of snow this weekend so most things might not be open.
i dont have a car this weekend either... smashed vic and the replacement car has lo-pro performance tires on it
oh yeah you could go to good times emporium in somerville... its pretty big and the only downside is the type of people that are there.. scummerville people

seriously though, it all depends on what you are into doing and what you've seen already.
check out newberry street, fanuel <sp> hall and that area, north end has some great restaurants. go see a play in the theater district. then at night go to landsdown street and enjoy the nightlife. jillians is fun. they renovated it so now theres a cool bowling alley upstairs, and you can play pool (i think) on the lower levels. its a cool place, drinks are expencive though. if you want to just shoot pool, go to boston billiards. thats where we went. if you want a decent meal w/ good beer, go to boston beer works. a really fun bar (i thought) was jake ivory's. im not sure what night, but they have 2 pianos there and they do duelling pianos. its a blast if the crowd is right.

^^ good ideas, gillians is awsome, north end resturaunts... dont go to the big pricey ones youll be ripped off just find a small place thats kind of busy and youll have a great meal for cheap money i guarantee it because ive been to almost every resturaunt there.
boston billiards is kinda expensive i thought

Haha. I've always been a Rockville and Baltimore, MD boy. I moved up to Boston last fall for grad school. And no, I do not have my car up here. It's still in Maryland. So you did not see my car the other day, ncirom2003.
