Update: Mehow's Status
So yeah... I'm like alive and stuff. LOL
I got some new glasses not too long ago. There's still some stuff to work out. Like me getting the right size. Stupid Walmart employees. I've got loaners right now though that are one size too small. They fit, but they keep wanting to slip off my nose. They're nicer than my old ones IMO. Very slick. Giorgio Armani. Bizam!
I've got my winter tires on now. My car looks retarded. I need to buy some wheel spacers. That will fill out the wheel gaps a little bit and give me a slight handling advantage (with these skinny snow tires). I want to buy some studs for these bad boys too. I wonder if those last long?
I've also got that Tanabe Sustec Underbrace thingie. Yet another suspension mod that helps to stiffen things up.
I installed it a while back and wrote a review. The only thing that sucks now is that I scrape the snow on the ground if it goes under the car.
I haven't looked at the Underbrace. I hope it's not scratched up!
What else, what else... I bought my very first piece of furniture a while back. Well, me and Maggie bought it.
It's a little cabbinet made out of bamboo. Kinda wicker style. Nice color too. What else... Oh yeah, we bought a comforter too. We'll be buying a whole setup for our bed. hehe...
I also paid off my credit card.
Well, at least one of them.
One more to go, but this one isn't as bad as the first. No payment on it either till some odd month of 2004.
Remember how I mentioned that I didn't get a statement for my phones from T-Mobile? There was some sort of an error when I signed up and now I haven't paid them a dime (besides paying for the phones) for two months. I think it's some sort of error on their part and I basically have full service for $0 a month. I even got the money back for the two Nokia phones that I bought! hehe... That would be awesome if that was the case. Only time will tell.
What else? What else? Stuff. Things are slowly changing for the better for me. Hopefully the next time I write a thread like this I'll have even more good news to share.
So... How are things going with you guys? CC crew and all...

My close friends and I are buying a clone to the black van in old school. 94 Dodge with a 318 in it. Installing a complete Dj system, monster garage style. Ripping the whole thing down to metal and redoing it throughout the winter. It'll be done in the spring.

im working. that should pretty much be a hint that i have no real life anymore. lol...but thats not really true. met a girl over the july 4th weekend (there were fireworks...
) LOL so weve been dating for 5 1/2 months and things are going great!!
i was $200 away from finally killing my credit card debt, and then x-mas came and i had to do the gift thing...thats gonna kill me for another few months.
but oh well, its the spirit of giving. after that im gonna make a REAL effort to save some money and get an apartment. its a bit tricky though cause i found out i only have another year with the civic till the lease runs out, so next december i will be in the market for another car. thinking either a 2k1-2k2 or used 2k3 wrx, or if i can find a decent 97-99 miata im thinking about that too. cant go wrong w/ a RWD and a drop top for around $10k....plus a supercharger.
i hit $30k miles in the civic. enjoying winter driving more than last year now that i have actual all season tires on there. im thinking of sticking with them for the full year just cause theyre MUCH better on the bumps than my 17's are...so ill just fix them a-la grey's DIY and sell them or something.
other than that, it was awesome seeing the peeps that came to the M-A meet. good to see CC representing so far away from the home base.

Bullet points of Phil's status:
- Still working hard at MIT, that fight's always difficult...
- Still with Krista, things are a little rocky at times, but we're doing okay...
- Snow sucked and I'm still sore from all the shoveling
- I tried to hook up my sub but to no avail - I guess I need some more guidance before I can have some boom boom in the back
- If anyone's trying to reach me, my cell phone is cut off till I can pay the bill - call my office or send me an email. Sucks

Eh. Not much has changed for me. Working during the week. Chillin on the weekends. Been going to a lot more bars the last few months cause thats where "people wanna go", though spending money on beer and cover charges gets annoying. Money has been a little tight lately so the projects slated for the ride has been put on hold. Being a supervisor and doing 3x more things than a regular phone biatch but getting paid the same sucks a big one, but I'm supposed to be getting a raise in the next couple months. We'll see. Anyhow, I'm probably not gonna do anything till the Spring. Probably going to get 1 or 2 more mods to increase handling and still looking to get a not too aggressive kit. Then finally look into some ICE. First time my car doesnt have a garage to sleep under for the winter, but I can deal.
Same here as everyone else......basically work all the time...but at lest I'm havin a great time doin it!! Been happier than I've been in months!! Miss seeing the CC crew altho I hope everyone is doin well....hopefully if we all survive this winter we can meet up in Spring......I'd be down for a meet again in the summer.......maybe a southern meet, beach ,sun, ahhh warm thoughts
And Meeha Congrats again on now being officially taken off the market!!! Good luck to the both of you!! And luck to everyone else in whatever you do........
