Getting My Rota Attacks Replaced...
Thanks to this thread: Which Rota? I was able to find the proper contact information to get my wheels replaced. It turned out that they were one of the first 80 produced. These wheels had a problem with cracking along the spokes when high loads were applied. That includes cornering loads. Anyway, thanks to the link within that thread I was able to contact the right people and I'm on my way to getting a replacement.
Anyone know how much it costs to transfer the tires from my old set of Rota's to my new set and get them balanced and what not? Approximate cost that is...
So yeah... Woo ****in' hoo!
I'm happy!

sorry...cant help you. but the dude at firestone quoted me $20 to change a valve stem and plug a hole. so im guessing it might be something like 80 for 4 wheels??
i mean i dont see why it would be any more. might even be less since he wont have to do anything besides just moving the tires, whereas he has to plug mine and change the valve stem and balance.
good to hear youll be less of a risk on the street.
are you getting the same model rotas? all 4 or just that one?
BTW - totally on a tangent and off topic, but i was taking off my wheels yesterday so i could just drop them off at firestone instead of waiting for 3 hours there. anyway, my front is so low that the jack doesnt fit under there. HAHAHAHA and the rear is getting pretty low also. the only way ill be able to lift it soon is on the axle in the rear. just need a block.
thanks meehow!!

Yeah, I'll be getting all four replaced. I don't know if I'll go with the same color yet. Maybe not. Which would you go with?

As for the drop... Oops! Are you blaming me?

Yeah, I'm leaning towards Steel Grey myself. Grey + Steel Grey = Made For Each Other. LOL The color is slightly lighter than what I'de like, but once it gets a little dirty I'm sure it'll be fine. LOL I think that the Steel Grey color wasn't available when I ordered my wheels.
Yep Keith, now you can buy mine. Although... Do you still want to buy my old Attacks? I'de transfer the tires from my old Attacks onto my new Attacks and I'de keep those. I'de sell the old Attacks if anyone wanted them. Although I think that I'de feel weird selling those "defective" wheels.
Dan... Those Retro's are Retarded. LOL They look like they belong on a muscle car, not an import. The Group-N are bad-***. Again, only in 15" I think, right? They weigh as much as the Attacks too (which is retarded considering they're only 15's). Boo!
Rota's Group-N is a very good replica of Mugen's RNR wheel. What ALLMAN has is a slightly more expensive Tenzo-R replica of the same wheel. Although the Tenzo-R replica is heavier and looks like *** IMO. I'de get the Group-N is I were to choose betwean the two.

I will most likely get the Steel Grey color. They said that I could choose whichever color I wanted, so that's k3wl. My old wheels will not be for sale though 'cause I'll have to exchange them for the new ones. They'll pay for shipping and everything, so that's k3wl. Sorry guys...
