I think what I am going to do guys, is just cancel this meet in dallas, and just go to the texas meet in austin, on the 2nd of November. I think it will be a better turn out. What do yah guys think??

That may be a good idea. If we do this Austin meet like last time, then you will get to meet everyone when we meet up to caravan to Austin.

Hey guys, i have a quick but dumb question.. what's the point of having a 'Dallas' meet but, it's not gonna be in or near Dallas? I would be willing to show up to a dallas meet, but I'm not to enthused about driving way out of the way to BFE. But i don't know![IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

When we meet in Austin(or wherever) it's not just a DFW meet, it's a statewide meet. There should be a strong showing from the Houston peeps, a few from San Antonio, and a couple from Austin. Austin is the most fair location because it requires 90% of us to make an effort to get there. Last time, we BBQ'd some burgers and hot dogs and had a pretty good time.

Hey guys, 2001civiclx and I are meeting this Saturday night with some other people from lonestarcivics.com and contour.org at Keller's. It's a restaurant/bar on Northwest Highway, just East of US-75 (Central Expwy). It's supposed to be a dope hangout for all kinds of cool cars, both imports and domestics.

Check out this thread for more info. It's like $5 per car to park there but you don't have to deal with nonsense like immature ricer kids or cops.
