um, im not sure yet, is it that big of a place?? lol, im going down there for a weeks vacation with my friend that im moving down there with and meeting my one friend that lives down there with his family, hes moving in wiht us also, but anyway, when i go down, im going to look at apartments and whatnot, and i currently work at applebees up here, so im going to try to get a job at the one down there, but if not i will be job hunting during that week also

It's not that it is that "big", but just spread out- about twenty-thirty miles from the south end of the beach to the north end, and then maybe about 10-20 inland. While "Myrtle Beach" itself is right in the middle, you have Pawleys Island/Murrells Inlet/Garden City/Surfside Beach/Socastee/Conway/North Myrtle Beach/Atlantic Beach/Little River. (Not too mention all the small towns that are on the Western side of Horry County.)

But all these small towns are considered the Myrtle Beach area. Myrtle Beach itself, within the city limits is just an average size town. About 220,000 year-round residents.

But, and I had to look this up: Myrtle Beach is the 13th fastest growing area in the nation; so obivously, it is rapidly growing! And over 13.5 million people visit this area each year, so the population always seems much larger!

alright, well im going down there to spend a week in the near future, talking 2 weeks or so, then il move down there permanently about 2 weeks after that, but if everyone wants to pick a weekend date after i figure out what week im going to be down there to look around and pick a place to meet and go out to eat or something.....like hooters if there is one, or something lik that, im down, otherwise i wont be able to make it, il hav to wait til a summer meet

well id still like to get it together, but i prolly wouldnt be able to go myself. new baby makes distance traveling kinda difficult. if you guys still want to get together, ill help coordinate everything though
