Cool, I've talked to a few people that are interested in meeting up too. I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for Australia, back July 5, sometime after that I'm going to try to get us all together again, maybe start something a little more formal. See ya in July.

I'm going to cry. Some moronic little 17 year old lane changed into me, destroying my front bumper and body kit wraparound, passenger side fender and side skirt, cracked the front neon in about 5 places (but somehow the passenger neon stayed intact), bent the hood and the passenger door, and scratched the hell out of the front passenger rim. It's so horrible. And the day before I leave for Australia... The police declared it 100% his fault, and he has insurance, so at least there's that. Cop even thought my car was "pimp." My poor car is going to have to sit until July when I can come back and fix her. Oh, and the cleared headlight Steven worked on? Shattered into many amazingly small pieces. Anyone for not letting kids get their licenses until they're 18?

SHAI, let me know if you want to hang out friday or whatever, i have nothing to work of i don't think maybe we can tinker with something, if we do i'll let Jennifer know and maybe she can hang with us.
Hmmm, I don't know. I'll have to see what goes on later this week. It is ok about saturday, I ended up going to cg's with my friend and getting blitzed. I'll get back to you later about saturday. I am off thursday if you want to do anything to your car.

dude i don't think there are any tulsa peeps active not that i know of at least, you should come hang with us sometime, we need more peeps, i want to start a statewide club.
i used to meet with jeep folks to offroad when i had a jeep. i kinda miss that.
i've met with the ok-speed folks once. looking to meet more 7/8 gen civics tho... plus we can all use each other to try out new snizit for our cars

i think putting my new rims on in the parking garage at work was what did it. i was pretty much mindless after that.

there are some installs it would be nice to have another few people there helping just in case. plus extra hands and eyes are good when doing difficult stuff.
i think my next bigger thing that will need help on is a set of true coilovers with the steering arm on them... hopefully an h&r cup kit.

dude we are meeting today, let us know if u want to come down and need help with the coilovers i'm interested in getting some and want to know how it looks, feels and goes.......give feedback or holla
I don't have the coilovers since they haven't come out yet, so...
I just did my CAI install last night, easy as pie.
I do however need help installing the rear deck speakers and would appreciate help from someone who's done it before.
Any of you done it yourself and want to help me? Not sure when I can do it as my weekend is full this weekend.

Just some advice from my experience: when you install your rear deck speakers, go ahead and Dynamat at least the top of the rear deck frame, if not the rest of the rear section, depending on what you can afford. Obviously, the more you Dynamat the better, but just doing the rear deck frame makes a huge difference, as that rattles a lot with aftermarket speakers, and even worse if you have a subwoofer. Ryan knows all the places I Dynamatted on my car, they're really the more important, as I didn't have money to completely cover the interior. I also have the roller and a good har dryer (not usually necessary but can be useful) if anyone wants to borrow them after I get back on the 5th.

Dude come down one weekend if u need some help, we are probably integrating the 7thgen club into this national club i'm starting an Oklahoma Chapter until we get more 2001's, but we still meet and mod them anywayz. Post on the ATTN ALL OKLAHOMA 2K1'S HYBRID REVOLUTION thread if u are interested in the club it gives more details and also tell's a benefit of the club (getting aftermarket parts at wholesale), follow RiceBurner's advice on the Dynamat. Later, Steven
