Next DFW Area 2K1 Civic Meet
K guys, we have been talking about it recently, now I'd like to get some good ideas for where/when.
I think we had pretty much discussed having it around Feb 16th. For me, it would have to be in the early PM, like right around 12 or 1, cause I've got a business dinner that night and also a gig to play.
So let me hear your ideas. I know some of you like having at an indoor place, some of you like having it somewhere where we can focus on the cars. Don't really matter to me, just as long as we decide soon so everyone can make time to be there.

Rep Power: 0 Works for me just need to be back in Arlington at 7:30 p.m. Is there a place in the Arlington/Grapevine that yall normally meet is or is it usually in Dallas. Let get this planned I still want to meet all you guys. Later!

Rep Power: 0 I can do 2 or 3pm also. I think my dinner is around 6, and I'll probably skip the gig for that night. Where at?
CJ wants someplace around Grapevine, so maybe at Grapevine Lake? DRJ - you know that area, so put up directions to a place around there.

Rep Power: 0 How about we all meet at 2pm, at Grapevine Mills parking lot, around pole number 3B(?). I think that is the correct pole number. It is north east of the AMC theater that is on the north side of mall. I'll park my Civic out there, you'll be able to see it from the road that goes around the mall(white dropped sedan, tinted windows).
When I get home tonight I'll send this out on an email, we can meet at the mall, and then go to the lake if we want.
You guys should all have my email address and cell number, if you have any questions, now or on the day of the meet.
I'm flying back out to Florida on Sunday(Tampa this time, was in Jacksonville last July) for a week, so this the last day I can meet until I get back.
When I get home tonight I'll send this out on an email, we can meet at the mall, and then go to the lake if we want.

Rep Power: 0 Alright everyone...I finally got the directions for a Grapevine Lake meet.
First of all, if you are at Grapevine Mills mall, you are 99% of the way there.
1. Take SH 26 toward Grapvine. SH 26 is the road that Bennigan's faces at Grapevine Mills mall.
2. At the Fairway Dr. stoplight, turn right.
3. Follow the road until you see a blue and white sign for the Silver Lake Marina.
***If you are driving on the dam over Grapevine Lake, you have gone too far. You can turn around on the other side of the dam.***
4. Turn left at the road just after the sign. This road is right across the street from the Cowboys Golf Club.
5. Immediately when you turn onto this road, you will see a right hand turn. Take it.
6. Follow this road until the end.
The location I found is at the end. I thought it would be good for pictures because it overlooks the water. I'll be reading the forums all day Saturday so if any clarification is necessary, you can post here. Also, you can call me at 214.629.3387. Hope to see you there!
