I won't be there.
I stopped wasting money entering shows when my sponsors decided that they'd entered me (and paid for) enough shows, and gotten enough advertising out of me.
Now that the thread has been whored, there's a Poker Run benefiting Coats for Kids coming up on the 26th, anyone going?

I've showed in Hot Import Nights 3 years in a row, Import Revolution 3 years in a row, and a lot of other local/regional shows. I've been in local and regional car magazines and my car was used as part of a display at SEMA for the last two years.
I've had my fun with car shows for now, until I repaint/fix the rock chips (oklahoma roads suck so much ***) and do some other fun things. Then I'll pick up another sponsor, or possibly the same ones, and do it all over again.
Don't get me wrong, I will be at your show spectating and I think it's great that someone is trying to pull off a professional import show in Oklahoma, it's about time. I hope everything goes well, and I hope it's something that can become a yearly event.
As much as I like shows, I just won't be there displaying my Civic, I'll be too busy getting it ready for time trials at Alamo Motorsport Ranch and Hallett. Nothing beats boost and a road course.
