Rep Power: 0 FYI - Just to let you know that you guys may want to reconsider the Bird Rd. and 70 something (best buy) location for that meet. FPL will be working on construction of underground cables there starting January 28th, 2002. ( I read this in a notice that was mailed out). Just wanted to give you the heads up. Well I'm gettin the front and rear lip, and wing repainted. AND I had my stereo console, gauge bezel and center console taken out to get painted too. I'm also waiting on a upper altezza grill so i can drop that off to get painted too. He said it'd be done by wed. But you know how shops are. So I can't promise I'll be there. But if you keep postin all the info on the site or email it to me..if i'm done by then i'll go for sure. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 I'm from Miami got 2k1 EX started on her last wekend with some H&R springs. I'm not new to the import scene but I'm new to the new import scene. I'm 29 yrs old and back in highschool I use to own a red 280Z wich I had fixed up with headers, Cam, Ignition, Intake, and stripped from all extra pounds. Me and my crew use to go down to cutler ridge to race mustangs, RX7s and toyota corollas. Anyway I got out of the scene because I was spending to much money on the car and I felt like I had to do something serious with my life so I sold the car and left to school. When I got back I wanted a sports car again but I did't have $$$ so I ended up with a slow econo box. Well after a couple of years I sold that econo box and I thought I was going to be able to get a fast car again. My sights were set on an Acura RSX, but unfortunatly I did't have the $$$ So I ended up with a 2K1 Civic EX. I'm really happy with the car but god is it slow, I was ready to give up my reencarnation as a racer until some kid tried to race me. I said what the heck lets go (Like old times), the civic when off the line like a rocket and it left me with my mouth open. Now at 29yrs old I'm looking to try to make my civic at least as fast as an RSX. Can It be done? after seeing that civic fly off like that I think so. I've been out of the scene for so long that I;m having trouble finding the answers to my questions. So I'm looking for people in the the area that might be able to help an "old racer" get his fix back.

one is the $$$$ and the other is the right machanic
ive seen 95 civics spank rsx's off the line. it just depends on the
mods your gonna do, if you wanna spray or not and most improtantly
the driver but u already know this [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] and this is just my opnion..........on
another note im trying to organize a meet of new civic owners ive already
got 2 drivers who r intrested if you r then please get back
to me...trying for a friday night at tower shops....u know about that?
