April 6, Tire Rack.... Me and who else?
Round 1....
Screw exams.... I'm going racing. I'm gonna make the 2 or so hour drive up from West Lafayette to South Bend for this. It was too much fun last fall. Who else wants to go.

mmm, sounds tempting...
I'll have to check my schedule. The GF wants to do this too, so I'll have to let her know.

You don't need anything but a drivers liscence, entry money and a car that'll pass inspection (all the lugnuts, a battery tie down, nothing loose in the interior, and everything is mechanically sound). If you don't have a helmet, they usually have some to borrow. That's it.... no certification required.
I sure wish my car was newer

I may be crazy, but my dad told me that you needed the SCCA liscense to do any solo 1 driving.
And for helmets, would motorcycle helmets do fine? We've got a few of those.
Crap... are there any other dates? I've got the state debate tourney that day. Please tell me there are some more...

SCCA South Bend Region Schedule
I think this is Solo II. Solo 1 may be the race cars.... which you probably need a license for. But you don't for this.

hmm..i dind't see ya posted this i just made a post about it too..hehe...i'm for sure there....
no lic. needed for solo II, your can become a member and get points if you race al season and get prizes at the end. but alot of people just go for fun. I will be joining the SCCA this year i think, rolly run H stock or STS depending on how they treat my rims, technically i should go to STS.

Hope to see ya'll out there...BTW mroe than 1 person can drive the car, both pay full price, but rotate drivers, one usually in the front drivers and the other usually drives in the middle of the pack, any ?'s on thsi aim me Oryp

What's up guys???? Hey, are you gonna pre-register for it or just sign up day of? It says its limited to 120, but I can't remember if that's a lot or not. Gonna be running STS again... don't feel like taking my intake off and I'm gonna have my new 17's and better than stock tires this time... should make it more fun than the slip and slide last fall.

Before I forget.... I was up at the Rack yesterday and the bridge over 80/90 is not there anymore... so here's the NEW DIRECTIONS assuming we're going to meet at the Perkin's on the corner of 31 and 80/90. I may just go directly to the Tire Rack, it depends what time I get up there, I'm not exactly sure how long it takes to get there from West Lafayette.
Starting at Perkins: Go under the Toll Road and go LEFT on Cleveland
When you get to Bendix Dr, turn LEFT and get into the right lane quickly.
Turn RIGHT onto Nimtz Parkway (signs for 'Blackthorn'). Go about 2 miles, you'll pass the State Police Post and 2 lights.
You'll get to a stop sign that is OLIVE RD. Turn RIGHT. Take it to Vorden Parkway which is the rode the Tire Rack is on.
Alternate route if you're coming up from the south is to take the 31/20 Bypass to Olive Rd, go west when you get off the Bypass and turn right at the stop sign.

yeah.. we can take a listen to your tranny... i can tell ya right now that sounds = bad news most of the time.. hope your still under 36,000 miles... if not.. might be a good time to start considering a k20 swap... hehehe... nah... if its something in the tranny but isnt making a difference in the way it drives it SHOULDNT be that big of a deal.. but then again... it is a honda... who knows...
yeah....it isn't driving differently but the nois is scaring me...yeah i'm only at like 26000 miles i can take it in if i need to but i always hate taking it to the dealer ships...i refuse to take it to basney honda (where i got it) i take it to G Leep in elkhart (basney told me that i have a bad front right lower control arm and not cover under warranty due to customer abuse (i had the car like 3 months it was still snowing hehe) i took it to g leep and they said oh no its just part of the exhaust there is a tech bulletin out for it..covered under warranty 100%

Sorry guys, I probaly won't make it to hang out. The car is going to the dealership on Monday and I want to put the least amount of miles on it as possible. It's at ~38050 and I hope they still cover it under warranty or at least give me a courtesy repair (I pay for labor). Another thing I noticed w/ the slippin' auto tranny is that my gas mileage is down the tubes.
220 miles on the odometer and the tank is almost empty.

So it doesn't look like I'll make this one... but once school lets out, I should be at most if not all the rest... Sorry guys
