I just wanted to say !wasup! and get this thread up and running again! i've been poppin in here and there to check in and i haven't seen a lot of KC communication so i thought i would give it a jump! How's everyone doin?

sup mattdawg! congrats on the new mods! now that you mention the mods i think i've probably seen you a couple times as well! yeah, i work in a 'bank building' down off of Johnson Dr - but don't work for the bank. the company i work for has offices on the 1st, 4th & 5th floors...

ya know Matt, the crew is still going strong and growing weekly, but we will always have room for another 7th gen [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG] if you ever decide to come out let us know!

yea john i actually saw u a few weeks ago on 87th between switzer and quivera and i honked and waved at you, it was like 12:30 or so anyway, yea i graduate highschool in may so i gotta focus on this but this summer i'll go roll with u guys that would be fun. i go out everyonce in awhile to keep it running, but my car is usually in my garage for winter.


hopefully this summer we can get a good 7th gen meet with eveeryone in town , cuz everyday i see at least 2 7th gens and 1 is modded in some way.

yeah, i remember that because i was like "who was that? that was a nice ride"... there's so many 7th gens rollin around it's hard to know them all - i'm sure there's still 7th gen tuners that i haven't met yet!


yeah, i'm sure we will get something organized and pre-planned with enough advance notice to make sure we get a good turnout...

Dude, gotta tell, I think i might have said something before to you a while back. I worked on that bridge over Johnson Dr., on Metcalf this summer. Saw your car, it was good lookin, when I was in KC, in Mid July.
Never ended up making it back to KC, and a lack of time when you work from sun-up to sun-down, but we'll see what happens this construction season.

if you all ever get a spring meet or something going i can prob. go. I live in Manhattan for school so i wont be here in the summer. But yeah if im not busy with school then ill definilty drive the 2 hours especially because there is no import scene here.

the sooner the better!! HOWEVER, having said that, it's still gonna be a little bit - first i gotta raise the car back up (this month) and try to repair the jacked up camber that i've been suffering thru for the last 6 months... after the coils comes the rest of the kit (probably Feb/Mar)... IT"S just a lot harder now that i'm married and we're planning a family and all that - car pymts, mortgage, savings, bills, bills, bills...

my advice to all of you young ppl: make sure you get hooked up with one of these nice rich JoCo gurlz so that you'll have plenty of "combined income" to carry each other as well as the sick hobby that we've all been sucked into!

hey jon quick question, if you getting the rest of the kit in march or so. we could get it painted at the same time so that we wouldnt have to pay to have it mixed twice. possibly save some cash???

There's probably a good chance of that and yeah it probably would save us some dough... we're going to pick up a new body shop sponsor asap since the last one turned out to be inadequate in so many ways - our kits could be a good potential project to pitch when the time is right....

yesterday i saw a very clean black 7th gen sedan that was totally blingblingin in the glow of all the dusty dirtya$$ cars rolling around 75th & Metcalf... IronCow, was that you man?

yeah, the big H is a little played out... kind of redundant because ppl already know it's a Honda... plus it reminds me too much of all the other crap that can be purchased thru Advanced Auto like a windshield banner that says CHEVROLET for example... no creativity! i'll admit when i was first dropping into the scene a few years ago i almost did the big H in my back window - but i'm wiser now...
