So is anybody going to make any comments about anything? Unfortunatly, I couldnt make it. Did you guys cruise? Anything? Sure didnt look like too big of a turnout. There cetainly seemed to be a lot of interest when it was first mentioned, but nobody was really talking about it at all last week.

We pretty much just sat, and ate some BBQd food for the most part. Talked about future mods to our cars, stuff that happens on the board, etc. It was pretty cool putting faces to names.
Some of us took a small road trip to see FlexEX's sedan at the dealership service department. I think we almost drove that one service guy nutz with about 6 guys hovering around Flex's crippled sedan. Flex to service guy: "Thanx for not trippin', man"
I think we probably started too early, since most of us were pretty tired before the sun went down. I think the next meet should start at a later time, so we all don't get sick of each other too early, j/k! Streets of Woodfield is right down the street. I think it would've been cool if we all cruised through there for a bit.
The forest preserve was extremly busy that day. Nice days brings everyone out. We had some kind of redneck party across the way, but we ignored them by saturating them with techno music. We also gave them an occasional blast from my triple air horns to let them know we were still awake.
More than a couple people stopped by to check out our cars and talk. umm, 2 d00ds on crotch rockets, 2 guys in late model Z28s (I think they were trolling for a race), and MugenRacerX's bro stopped by with his sweet RX7. I'm sure there were more, but that's all I remember right now. Oh yea, the ice cream truck chick kept checking us (or just me? ) and our rides out everytime she drove by.
The turnout was OK I guess. I think the meet was more about the quality of the people that showed up, not the quantity.
It's too bad most of us are only in the beginning stages of modifying our cars. MugenRacerX and VTECnique probably had the most heavily modded cars. Gimme a year to catch up!

The coupe? It's a regular trunk lid with dynamat on the inside. (I think that's what you're looking at....)
That's VTECnique's. It is currently wrecked.
